XPages Workshop in Stockholm, Sweden. March 10-11
Written by TimsterC on Mon 16-Feb-09 – 10:16 -If you are interested in attending an XPages workshop run by Matt White and myself then please take a look at this url. http://tinyurl.com/XPages-SE
I am very sorry to say that this workshop will not be free of charge. As it is being hosted by IBM Education and so that we can pay for Matt’s time they are having to charge for it. But there seems to be an early bird offer (if my Swedish language skills (guess work) is anything to go by). It looks like you can save 20% if you book soon.

The two prices are with and without salkes tax. The Swedish sales tax is 25% (e.g. the price without sales tax is 20% lower). Traditionally, in Sweden (as in most European countries), prices always include sales tax, since that is what you actually pay. The only ones not needing to know the sales tax are companies/corporations, since they get reimbursed for sales tax at the end of the year(?). So products and services mainly marketed to companies used to be advertised with price without sales tax. Back in the early 90′s, when most computers were sold to companies, all computer ads were just showing the price without tax. When more and more consumers starting buying, the resellers had to show the price both with and without tax.
So sorry, no early bird special.

Whilst I would probably agree with you that the website does show with and without tax. May I bring your attention to the following statement on the web page.
OBS! 20 % rabatt på listpriset vid anmälan före 1 Mars.
Google translates this as;
NOTE! 20% discount on list price for the notification before March 1
I hope this clears up the confusion.

You are correct, I did not see that part.
Good news, then!
